| Graham's 10 Year Old Port |
|
|
|
|
| |
| Graham’s 10 Years Old is made from wines of the very highest quality which, following careful selection, are matured in seasoned oak casks of 534 litres until their peak of maturity is reached. These are among the most demanding and challenging styles of Port to produce requiring great skill and years of experience from the winemaker and blender. It is essential to strike the correct balance between the delicacy and elegance which results from prolonged cask ageing while retaining the fruit quality which lends this old Tawny its structure and longevity.
Tasting Notes
Fine deep tawny colour, with complex nutty aromas combined with hints of honey and figs. On the palate, rich mature fruit flavours, beautifully mellowed and a luscious long finish.
Food pairing suggestion and serving
Graham’s 10 Years Old Tawny is a perfect match to sweet pastries, such as apple pie with cinnamon. Taste slightly chilled to appreciate the full complexity and sensuous pleasure of this wine. An excellent alternative to Vintage Port at less formal occasions. Will keep for some weeks after opening. |

Tasting Notes
Graham’s 20 Years Old represents superlative quality. Its principal attributes are great complexity and harmony. With an amber, golden tawny colour, denoting considerable age, Graham’s 20 Years Old has an excellent bouquet, with a characteristic ‘nutty’ character (almonds) and delicious mature fruit with hints of orange peel, exquisitely mellowed by careful ageing. Rich, sweet and smooth on the palate, it is perfectly balanced, with a long and lingering finish. This is an excellent alternative to Vintage Port at less formal occasions and will keep for some weeks after opening.
Food pairing suggestion and serving
Graham’s 20 Years Old pairs extremely well with nuts, dried fruits and fruitcake, but is also delicious as an accompaniment to vanilla ice cream or crème brûlée. Serve slightly chilled to appreciate the full complexity and sensuous pleasure of this wine. |

| Graham's Quinta dos Malvedos Vintage Port |
|
|
|
|
| |
The quality of the wines from the Malvedos vineyard is such that in Vintage declarations these wines provide the main structure for Graham’s classic Vintage Ports. In most of the interim years, the wines from Malvedos will merit bottling as a single estate, or ‘single quinta’ Vintage Port – from a single harvest.
Graham’s Malvedos Vintage Ports admirably show the Graham’s house style with their expressive floral characteristics, opulent black berry fruit flavours and racy flair. They are usually more approachable when young than classic Vintage Ports and therefore make an excellent alternative to the latter – while one waits for these to fully mature.
Graham’s Malvedos Vintage Ports have won a simply astonishing collection of awards at the world’s major international wine competitions over recent years, clearly outperforming other producers. In the International Wine Challenge alone, Malvedos Vintage Ports have won an impressive (and unrivalled) 5 gold and 11 silver medals.
The 1988 Malvedos was the first ever Port (and in fact, the first ever Portuguese wine) to be ranked in the prestigious Wine Spectator’s annual ‘Top 100’ wines of the world classification. It also won gold medals for two consecutive years at the London International Wine Challenge. |

| Graham's Six Grapes Port |
|
|
|
|
| |
Six Grapes is one of Graham’s original Port marques. It is a big-hearted wine, sourced from the same vineyards (essentially Quinta dos Malvedos and Quinta das Lages) that contribute to Graham’s famed Vintage Ports in ‘declared’ years. As such, it closely resembles Graham’s Vintage Port style: full-bodied, with rich opulent black fruit on the palate and fragrant brambly aromas. We think of it as the ‘everyday Port for the Vintage Port drinker.’ Six Grapes is bottled relatively young (between 3 and 4 years) in order to retain the freshness and vigour comparable to a young Vintage Port.
The distinctive depiction of grape bunches on the bottle is taken from the identification symbols long used in the Graham’s lodge to identify the wines destined to make up the Six Grapes blend.
Six Grapes has won a remarkable 3 gold medals at the International Wine Challenge, most recently, in the 2006 edition of this, the world’s biggest and most prestigious wine competition.
Tasting Notes
Dark red colour, with a seductive rich perfume of ripe plums and cherries. On the palate, complex, with a good structure and a long lingering finish.
Food pairing suggestion and serving
Graham’s “Six Grapes” is delicious served at the end of a meal, for example with rich, nutty or chocolate desserts, as well as strong cheeses. |

| Graham's Vintage 2007 Port |

| An excellent vintage in the Douro which proved one of the exceptional years where the weather, combined with the work of the viticulturists and the winemakers, produced a stunning Graham. The sheer power, weight, complexity and balance of this wine guarantee its longevity.
Tasting Notes
Very profound and intense deep purple colour. Rich and complex floral aromas of violets and eucalyptus from the Malvedos and Lages Touriga Franca give a very special elegance to this wine. Very attractive rich blackberry flavoured fruit with excellent texture. The sheer power, weight, complexity and balance of this wine guarantee its longevity.
Food pairing suggestion and serving
Graham’s 2007 Vintage Port is a fabulous way to end a lunch or dinner. It pairs wonderfully with chocolate desserts, such as chocolate mousse, but it can also be enjoyed on its own, providing a memorable moment in the company of good friends. |
