| The 2008 Spellbinder is a blend of 42% Cabernet Franc, 21% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Syrah, 12% Merlot, and 11% Sangiovese. It was aged for 11 months in neutral French oak barrels. Like the previous releases of this wine, the Spellbinder is packed with great fruit, a wonderful spice component, and ultra-fine grained tannins- all in a full bodied package that is terrific by itself, as well as being a very versatile food wine.
