In 2009, the year of its 100th Anniversary celebration, Johnnie Walker Black Label is regarded by experts as the ultimate Scotch deluxe whisky, the benchmark by which all others are measured.

Each bottle of Johnnie Walker Black Label is two decades in the planning, draws whisky from the finest distilleries across Scotland and is aged in the finest whisky casks. Each whisky is matured in a slightly different way, due to the intricacies of wood, climate and location. The Johnnie Walker King George V Edition comes in a crystal decanter with an individually numbered certificate of authenticity. The whisky is made with the same techniques during the reign of King George V and features only whiskies from distilleries operating during that era. The blend includes the Port Ellen Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky from a distillery which no longer exists and whose preserved stock is expensive due to its scarcity . The crystal decanter comes in a silk-lined presentation box with a display holder for showing the bottle in whisky cabinets

Johnnie Walker Swing was originally created by Sir Alexander Walker, Master Blender par excellence and grandson of John Walker, during the golden age of travel in 1932. On transatlantic voyages, barmen desperately stowed loose bottles onto racks to prevent breakages caused by the unrelenting pitch and roll of stormy weather on the high seas.

Up to thirty-five individual whiskies are used in the creation of Swing, each carefully selected by the Master Blender, whose task it is to consistently reproduce the original character of the blend devised by Sir Alexander Walker.

A faithful replica of Ernest Shackleton's whisky, which was discovered under the Antarctic explorer's abandoned hut after being buried under the ice for a century. Mackinlay's Rare Old Highland Malt has been painstakingly recreated by Whyte & Mackay's Master Blender Richard Paterson at the original strength of 47.3%. A real collector's item, this whisky has been one of the most interesting whisky stories of the last few years and pre-release anticipation has been huge.
